When you walk into a room or crowded place, there is always that one person who stands out, who brings positivity and makes everyone laugh or smile. That one person was Taylor Nicole Hooks. Everyone Taylor came into contact with was touched in a great way. Her laugh was contagious and her personality was one of a kind. You couldn’t help but to love her, and you definitely couldn’t forget her. Everyone knew who she was, but not just because she had an awesome personality. She was a very talented barrel racer and was incredibly smart in school. Taylor and her horse, Turn Three for Money, who people called “Shorty”, were exciting to watch in the arena. The two of them were finalists in many world championships, finished in the Top five at The All American Youth Championships, were 1D reserved Youth World champions and became Georgia Youth State Champions in 2012. Shorty played a major part in Taylor’s life. Along with her barrel racing accomplishments, she also excelled in the classroom. Taylor worked hard in high school, which helped her graduate with honors in 2016. She then became a Correll Scholar in college. There is no doubt that she worked hard to be successful, but she also worked hard at being a great person. She put others first and always looked at the bright side of things. Taylor was a beautiful blessing who was born on September 15, 1997, and went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2017. Taylor Nicole Hooks may be gone, but she will always be remembered.
